THE PROBLEM
Bridging the Digital Content Gap - MSD’s robust legacy in pharmaceutical innovation was paired with a growing need for consistent, high-impact digital communications. The challenge was to enhance drip marketing initiatives and streamline the creation of creative, targeted digital assets that effectively engaged healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders across multiple platforms.
I joined a large, multidisciplinary team of digital marketers, automation specialists, and designers. My mandate was to support the digital marketing team across the GCC by developing and managing email campaigns, social media content, and creative designs.
Drip/EMAIL Marketing & Automation
I spearheaded email marketing initiatives by designing over 20 dynamic emailers and virtual invites using Adobe Illustrator and HTML. By leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud, I created automated workflows that ensured timely delivery and enhanced engagement, while also managing Rep Enabled Emails and detailed aids via Veeva Promomats to maintain consistent communication with healthcare professionals.

During my tenure at MSD, I played a pivotal role in modernizing the company’s digital content and optimizing campaign workflows. By integrating advanced automation tools and delivering a broad spectrum of visual assets, I significantly enhanced engagement and streamlined communication across the GCC.
This immersive experience honed my technical and creative skills in an industry-level environment. It also inspired me to experiment with innovative content formats and process optimizations, continuously pushing the boundaries of digital engagement and ensuring that every project contributes to sustained brand growth.
Creative Design & Visual Content
I produced a wide array of visual content—including branded and unbranded virtual invites for webcasts, internal communication flyers, logos, and banners. Utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I ensured that each asset adhered to MSD’s strict brand guidelines, significantly boosting campaign appeal and digital engagement across multiple platforms.





Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship
Working closely with teams across the GCC, I contributed to a variety of marketing projects including video production, podcast editing, and social media campaigns. I also mentored new interns and designers, enhancing team efficiency and fostering a collaborative environment that consistently met project deadlines and quality standards.
Process Optimization & Tool Integration
I enhanced workflow efficiency by mastering Assembler—an integrated design platform within Veeva—which enabled real-time HTML generation and seamless cloud syncing. This adoption streamlined the creation and approval process for digital assets, reducing turnaround times and ensuring compliance with MSD’s rigorous quality benchmarks.

Content Management & Social Media Calendar Coordination
Tasked with managing content for multiple illness sectors such as oncology, vaccines, and diabetes, I implemented a comprehensive social media calendar to streamline our digital content strategy. By collaborating closely with regional teams, I coordinated campaign timelines and aligned content with key industry events and MSD’s marketing initiatives. This proactive scheduling minimized conflicts and ensured that targeted messaging was delivered consistently across all platforms.
